Pineapple 8in 12525

Features & Attributes
Pineapple features unusual bracted red round flowers at the ends of the stems from late winter to late fall. Its large sword-like leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year. The small gold oval fruit is edible and has a tart taste with a fleshy texture and a light fragrance. Note that in general, it can be difficult to get plants to reliably produce indoors; this may be a challenge best reserved for experienced gardeners.
This is a spreading evergreen houseplant with a more or less rounded form. This plant may benefit from an occasional pruning to look its best.
